Think pink! It's a girl!

On Thursday morning about 8:30 we found out we're having a baby girl! Dr. Halcomb said she is growing beautifully. Her heart rate was 147 BPM, which is good and strong. We saw all her pieces and parts in the ultrasound, including the girl ones, and when asked how certain she was that Baby H was a girl, she said "completely" but we checked again just to make sure. She's about 10 or 11 inches long, crown to toe, and weighs 11 ounces.

The sonographer and doctor said I should start feeling movement soon as she was really moving around in there, stretching her legs and even covering her face when we attempted to take 3D pics. She's camera shy!

We're discussing names now. How fun! It's so nice to know what we're having. It really helps me connect to her and my motherly protectiveness has probably doubled in the last 2 days!
